UAE.Parkour

As posted on the UAE.Parkour website, I'd like to get us all together for a meet and greet and a run somewhere in the UAE.

Here's my idea:

We all get together at an agreed upon time and place, whether it be in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. If there are guys in Dubai who know of a great place to run we could all meet there for example and get to know each other and discuss ideas, techniques, good practice spots, whatever.

Obviously it would have to be at a time that suits most people, and since it's getting so hot I suggest 3pm, starting 4pm(and so theres still light but it's not so hot) on a thursday or friday in the next 2 or 3 weeks.

There are very limited choices for spots to meet up in Abu Dhabi, so I wouldn't mind driving to Dubai if there is a good spot near a nice place to chill and talk afterwards.

Please, if at all possible post a picture of your suggested meeting spot, with directions to it.

If you are interested in Parkour or Freerunning but haven't tried it yet, come join us, see what it's all about, join in and help us spread the word.

Bring a backpack containing:
-some comfortable, unrestrictive clothing
-a pair of trainers/running shoes
-water
-a small towel or sweatband
-a camera if you'd like.
-some cash

Suggestions please.

hey i wouldn't mind meeting at safa park thats were i normally go to get a little bit of practice with my friends.

there are some good areas in sharjah like the place where the villas are but i havent tried it yet, and next to my house there are some good rooftops near each other. ill try to post a picture of both of them

Im Ain and i would like to try parkour for a change...

Would be nice if we can make it on a thursday, if not this time then some time else... I have to come from Oman where the weekends are thur & fri ... I have been dying to train for parkour!!!!!!
