i think you should get vans shoes from sun and sand sports they have a good shoe with impact absorbers + they look cool

Vans are mostly skateboarding shoes, and as far as I know they don't have good support for heels.

There's no set type of shoe that you have to use though.. I've heard of traceurs running barefoot. You want a shoe that has some cushion in the heel for support (especially when you're learning) and a decent amount of grip. You don't have to shell out 200dhs for a pair of shoes either. Right now I'm running with a pair of carrefour trainers. Cheap so I don't have to worry about breaking them, with tons of grip and good heel support.

Once again it's all personal preference. Just like there's no single good way to clear an obstacle in parkour.

UAE. PK is right i would never recommend Vans for pk
As for the right type of shoe, it all depends on the typpe of foot you have. Luckily, most companies create 3 types of running shoes.
1)provides a great amount of impac cushioning and a little less stability
2)somewhere between 1 and 3
3) provides a great amount of stability but less impact cushioning.
You can figure out which one is for you by putting your foot on the ground right now. If you place your foot on the ground and the size of the foot remains the same, you need a shoe 1. If you put your foot on the ground and it sort of spreads out by more than 3/4 of an inch, you need a shoe 3. Anywhere in between and you need a shoe 2.
As well as all that, you shold always check for grippyness by rubbing he shoe on a wall.If it slides down slowly, its good. Last thing to check for is price. You can get the best freerunning shoes for very cheap and the worst trainers for like 500 dhs. All you have to remember is that just because it is more expensive dosnt mean that it is better.
If its in the way, JUMP IT

A little bit more info which might be helpful.. I bought my pair of shoes from carrefour in ad.. they work great, have insane amounts of grip and dont have a very hard sole.. I would recommend shoes with a softer sole if you're just starting out because you can very easily land wrong and hurt yourself if you're not careful. But once again, personal preference.. whatever feels better for one person might not be the best for another person..
